We continued west until we reached Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. We went for a walk in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. We liked the city skyline in the background, several different sculptures, the wind chimes in the trees, and the beautiful flowers in the arbor.
We drove past the Guthrie Theatre, then had a Jucy Lucy for lunch. This is a burger with the cheese inside the meat, and we had grilled onions on it too. It was messy and delicious!

Next we went to St. Paul's Cathedral. What a huge, beautiful church with its many stained glass windows, several chapels, and a cast of Michelangelo's Pieta inside.
Of course we had to go shopping at the Mall of America too! It was fun to see such a huge indoor mall that was more like a city complete with everything from stores of every kind you can think of, an amusement park, a hotel, an aquarium, a miniature golf course, well....everything!
Austin was our next destination for the Spam Museum. We learned everything there is to know about Spam's history, founders, marketing, flavors, and recipes from around the world. It was kitchy and entertaining!
We camped in the big woods of Minnesota, for a couple days before we moved on.
