We drove to Morristown to see where General George, and his wife Martha Washington spent two winters with his troops during the Revolutionary War.

Where his troops stayed, 12 men to a hut, 3 miles away.
After that, we headed to Rutt's Hutt for some rippers (deep fried weiners), which were not at all greasy. The skins were crispy, and the insides juicy and delicious. They make their own relish, which was really good on our dogs. And their onion rings were a crispy, crunchy, perfect accompaniment.
Then it was time for dessert! We headed to Hoboken to Carlo's Bakery for some treats. They were all wonderful, but I think we liked the flaky, creme filled lobster tail the best. We just might have to go back there for more someday!
